Schmeichel: "What Ferguson did for Manchester United is gone"

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel spoke about the Red Devils' crushing 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in the third round of the Premier League (PL).

"I was sitting next to Sir Alex, and it was truly sad. What he did for our football club—all those magnificent moments we experienced—those glorious times. It's all gone. I sat there while he watched this. What Ferguson did for the club is no longer there," Schmeichel told Goal.

After three rounds, Manchester United sits 14th in the league table, with three points.
