Schumacher: "Verstappen Loses a Million Each Race He Doesn't Win"

Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher believes that the losing streak of Red Bull racer Max Verstappen is significantly affecting his earnings.

"It’s estimated that he loses a million each race he doesn’t win. Incredible. He achieved such success last year, and these are significant sums he is losing on top of his racing struggles," Schumacher told Sky Sport.

"As for Verstappen's future, nothing is set in stone. I don't think he will show patience and stay there forever. From what I've heard, Mercedes has said, 'We always have a place for you.'

There is also an issue with Horner, who stated, 'If he wants to leave, let him go. We are strong as a team and can withstand it.' A classic miscalculation, as you can see," Schumacher added.

Verstappen won seven out of ten races at the start of the season but then failed to reach the top step of the podium in seven consecutive Grands Prix. Last year, the Dutchman claimed 19 victories out of 22 races.
