Sobolenko moved into the WTA top 10 in terms of career prize money earned

World number two Belarusian tennis player Arina Sobolenko has entered the WTA top-10 leaders in terms of career prize money earned.

On the night of September 7-8, Sobolenko defeated Jessica Pegula 7:5, 7:5 in the final of the US Open-2024. The athlete earned 3.6 million dollars for winning the tournament.

In total, Sobolenko has already earned 28.4 million dollars in bonuses. She has surpassed Garbiñe Muguruza (24.8), Svetlana Kuznetsova (25.8), Karolina Pliskova (25.9) and Agnieszka Radwanska (27.6).

The triumph at the US Open-2024 was Sobolenko's third at Grand Slam tournaments. Previously, the 26-year-old tennis player won twice at the Australian Open (2023, 2024).
