Social media reports have emerged regarding the death of Johnny Gaudreau, forward for the Columbus Blue Jackets. However, no official confirmation of this information has been released yet.

Rumours suggest that Gaudreau and his brother Matthew were involved in an accident while riding their bicycles, allegedly struck by a driver who was under the influence of alcohol. The New Jersey police have declined to comment on these reports, as conveyed by Tim Peel, a former NHL referee.

In the last season, Johnny Gaudreau played 81 games, during which he scored 12 goals and notched 48 assists, totaling 60 points. At the 2024 World Championship, he represented Team USA, participating in eight matches and accumulating 11 points (3 goals and 8 assists).
