Ten Hag Admits Manchester United May Drop Points Early in the Season

Manchester United's head coach Erik ten Hag has acknowledged the possibility that his team might drop points at the start of the new season.

"I admit this because we haven't trained together as a full squad. Players were participating in the Euros and Copa America, they were in different teams with different playing styles and systems. Now, we need to bring everyone onto the same page, and it's challenging. I'm not the only one facing this issue, but there are clubs with fewer international players — they can conduct preseason properly, so compared to us, they might have an advantage», — ten Hag told ESPN.

Manchester United will kick off the new season with a match for the English Super Cup against Manchester City. The match will take place on Saturday, August 10.

In the first round of the English Premier League (EPL), the Red Devils will host Fulham on August 16.
