The 20-year-old Lyon player went into hiding due to his unwillingness to move to Fulham

Lyon forward Ernest Nuama reportedly went missing on the final day of the transfer window in an effort to avoid being sold to Fulham, according to L’Equipe.

The French club had already agreed to sell the 20-year-old Ghanaian for €19 million, but Nuama was so reluctant to leave Lyon that he broke down in tears during the medical examination. Following this, he simply vanished, turning off his phone. As a result, the deal fell through because the clubs were unable to finalize it before the transfer window closed.

In July of this year, Nuama joined Lyon from Belgian side RVDM.
