UFC Fighter Arrested on Kidnapping and Multiple Assault Charges

American fighter Casey Kenney has been detained on suspicion of kidnapping and multiple assaults.

According to MMA Fighting, confirmed by Phoenix police officials, Kenney has been arrested. The 33-year-old faces a total of six charges: a second-degree felony for kidnapping, a fourth-degree felony for assault/strangulation, and four misdemeanor charges.

For the second-degree felony, Kenney could face a prison sentence ranging from four to 12.5 years.

Throughout his MMA career, Kenney has achieved 16 wins, endured 4 losses, and has one draw. His UFC record stands at 5 wins and 3 losses. His most recent fight took place in August 2021, where he lost to Song Yadong by split decision at UFC 265.
