UFC fighter on Mokayev’s dismissal: “There were rumors about it; I knew in advance"

American UFC fighter Brandon Royval commented on the dismissal of unbeaten British fighter Muhammad Mokayev from the promotion.

«I knew about this in advance; there were rumors that he fought uninterestingly, which would lead to his release. But, man, it really sucks. I feel sorry for Muhammad. I don’t know what else contributed to Mokayev’s dismissal, apart from the fact that he is a boring fighter.

But I hope he can secure a couple of wins and return to the UFC's flyweight division. Because it was interesting to follow him; he delivered some very striking quotes», Royval stated to Sportskeeda.

At the end of July, the UFC did not renew Mokayev's contract, despite his record of seven consecutive wins under the promotion’s banner.

Muhammad Mokayev has fought 13 times in MMA and boasts an undefeated record of 13 wins.
