Villeneuve Believes Hamilton Can Clinch Title with Ferrari

1997 Formula 1 champion Jacques Villeneuve is confident that British driver Lewis Hamilton, after moving from Mercedes to Ferrari, can secure his eighth world championship title.

"Hamilton can definitely win Formula 1 with Ferrari. This team could be the final step he's missing at Mercedes to clinch another title. At Ferrari, he will have the potential to perform like Max Verstappen and this could boost his psychological focus throughout the season as it's a new challenge. This would cement his place in history," GPblog quotes Villeneuve.

Before the start of the current Formula 1 season, it was announced that Hamilton would leave the German team and move to Ferrari at the season's end.
