Miami Mayhem: Design and Theme
🖼️ Graphics
In the base game, Miami Mayhem looks like a postcard from a tourist brochure that somehow slipped past the censors: palm trees, a purple sunset, neon signs, and a bandana-wearing hero taking up almost half the screen. The grid hangs in front of high-rises and a Benny’s sign, while the symbols — from a whisky glass and brass knuckles to a jetpack and crew portraits — are styled like a glossy comic book.
As soon as a mission or bonus starts, the visuals darken: the scene moves into a concrete corridor, a Wanted meter lights up above the reels with gold stars and minimum multipliers, and a new character appears alongside, watching you work the job. Full-height expanding Crew Reels and highlighted targets make it feel less like a regular spin and more like a short robbery cutscene playing out on the grid.
🎶 Sound
The base game runs on a calm electronic track with a soft beat and a light synth-pop line: it keeps the spin rhythm going without forcing itself into the foreground. The effects sit neatly on top of it — line clicks, coin jingles, and short flashes when Crew Reels expand.
In missions and bonuses, the tone shifts: the tempo picks up, the bass hits harder, and tense synth layers and heavier strikes come in on top. The soundtrack still doesn’t overwhelm, but it makes it very clear when the game switches from a cruising mode into a heist mode.

Special Symbols
To understand how to play Miami Mayhem, you need to catch the logic: special symbols do the heavy lifting — they either expand reels or trigger missions and bonuses — and the standard spins are built around them.
- Wild: substitutes for regular symbols to help complete paylines. A five-of-a-kind pays x10 of the stake, which is comparable to the top symbol.
- Crew: if it takes part in a win, it expands to cover the entire reel and turns it into a Crew Reel. That reel works as a full-height wild and can reveal a multiplier from x2 to x100, applied to the win connected to that reel. Five Crew symbols on a payline also pay x10.
- Wanted (star badge on a shield): triggers Mission mode with respins, selects a target symbol, and activates the Wanted Level meter, which sets the minimum multiplier for expanding Crew Reels.
- Scatter (blue neon symbol with FS): required to start bonus games. It lands only in the base game; the number of free spins and the specific mode depend on how many of these symbols land at once.
Bonus Game
Miami Mayhem features several modes, and all of them revolve in one way or another around Crew Reels, minimum multipliers determined by the Wanted Level, and the reuse of successful reels.
Missions
- Triggered by the Wanted symbol. You get 3 respins and a target high-paying symbol.
- Any win that includes the target symbol completes the mission, increases the Wanted Level by at least 1 step, and resets the respin counter back to 3.
- At level 0, expanding Crew Reels are guaranteed to function as regular wilds. From level 1, they also carry minimum multipliers: from x2 at level 1 up to x25 at level 5.
- If you go 3 respins in a row without completing the mission, the sequence ends and the Wanted Level resets.
The Hit
- Three scatters award 10 free spins with a progressive Wanted Level that rises as you complete missions inside the bonus.
- At the start, the game guarantees one mission, and from there it revolves around combining free spins with expanding Crew Reels under increasing minimum multipliers.
- Extra FS are possible: 2 FS symbols during the bonus give +2 spins, 3 FS symbols give +4.
We Split
- Four scatters trigger 10 free spins, adding a Mayhem Bar under the grid with five slots — one per reel — on top of The Hit mechanics.
- Whenever an expanded Crew Reel takes part in a win, that reel is “remembered” and fills its slot on the bar until the end of the bonus.
- After the final free spin, the Mayhem Bar starts a separate Crew Spin: all saved Crew Reels return to their reels at the same time, one extra spin plays out, and the win is calculated with the current Wanted Level minimum multipliers.
- If there are no saved Crew Reels by the end of the bonus, the final spin does not trigger.
- Extra spins work here as well: +2 / +4 for landing 2–3 FS symbols.
Get Lit — Hidden Epic Bonus
- Five scatters award 10 free spins, with Wanted Level locked at the maximum level 5, and every spin guaranteed to contain at least one Crew symbol.
- Missions do not trigger, FS symbols do not land during the bonus, but your chance of seeing multiple expanding reels with big multipliers is as high as it gets.
RTP, Volatility, Max Win
RTP is 96.35%. Volatility is high (4/5). The maximum win is capped at x15,000 of the bet.
Our Verdict
Miami Mayhem gives the feeling of a heist slot: the base game has plenty of movement thanks to the missions, where each Wanted turns three spins into a small quest, while the main spikes tend to happen when several Crew Reels expand at the same time with large multipliers.
The free spins here feel like a natural extension of the base mechanics rather than a separate mode. The Hit encourages play around the progression of the Wanted Level, We Split adds a satisfying moment where successful reels are preserved, and Get Lit is the most high-risk option for those willing to wait for a chance to see the grid filled with Crew Reels carrying large multipliers. The bonus buys are generous, but their price reflects that, so without a solid bankroll buffer it is better to stay out of that section.
For those who prefer more straightforward free spins and the familiar Megaways mathematics, it makes sense to look at Madame Destiny Megaways — a mystical slot with a wheel of fortune and multiplier wilds. And for large herds on the reels and 200,704 ways to win, Buffalo King Megaways is the logical choice: wildlife symbols and long chains of combinations.
