Le King: Design and Theme

Visually, Le King is Las Vegas at night run through a cartoon filter. A street stretches in the background with a pink flamingo sign and neon arches. On the right, Smokey stands full-height in a pink shirt with a microphone and star-shaped glasses. The slicked-back hair and showman mannerisms are a direct nod to Presley’s stage image.
The grid looks like a casino stage: against a dark backdrop, card ranks, watermelons, dice, microphones and stacks of chips fall in mixed together. When clusters hit, the cells light up with golden squares, and then coins, clovers and pots of gold appear on top of those positions.
🎶 Sound
A calm, slightly lazy rock ’n’ roll tune plays in the background, gently swinging with soft rises and fades: the rhythm section carries the groove, while guitar and keyboard accents sit on top. From time to time, Smokey’s voice lines break through — he cracks jokes, comments on spins and underlines the rare big clusters.
On wins, the sound becomes a little denser, with short jingles and chip-click effects, but without aggressive fanfares. In free spins, the volume and density of the track increase slightly, signalling that the “pay attention” mode is on, while the audio still stays comfortable even over a long session.

Special Symbols
To better understand how Le King works, it’s easiest to start with the special symbols:
- Wild (black-and-white portrait of Smokey): substitutes for any paytable symbols, helping to complete clusters.
- Scatter (yellow-purple FS letters on a star): triggers free spins. Depending on how many FS symbols land at once, you access one of three bonus levels.
- Golden Squares (gold background cells): mark the positions where clusters previously landed. Until activated by the rainbow, they stay on the grid and accumulate; when triggered, they turn into special symbols with cash values or functions.
- Neon Rainbow (rainbow with clouds): activates all collected Golden Squares on the grid. After activation, those cells reveal coins, clovers, pots and jackpot markers.
- Bronze / Silver / Gold coins: reveal from Golden Squares and carry fixed prizes from x0.2 to x500.
- Green clover: after activation, multiplies all coins and pots in adjacent cells by x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20.
- Gold clover: does the same across the entire grid, multiplying all coins and Treasure Pots within the playfield by a random multiplier from x2 to x20.
- Treasure Pot (purple pot of gold): collects the values of all coins and other Treasure Pots on the grid and stores their total. Pots activate one by one from top to bottom, left to right, and do not collect jackpot symbols.
- Jackpot Marker (Mini, Major, Mega, Max): when activated, awards one of the fixed jackpots — x10 (Mini), x100 (Major), x1,000 (Mega) or x20,000 (Max), which matches the slot’s maximum win. Several different markers, except Max, can trigger in the same reveal, and their values add together.
Bonus Game
Le King has three free spins levels plus a hidden epic mode, all built around accumulating and processing Golden Squares.
Spin City
- The base free spins mode, where the full cascade-and-coin logic stays in place, and Golden Squares become progressive: they do not disappear between spins, but wait to be activated by the rainbow.
- When Neon Rainbow triggers, the golden cells reveal, and then you can build up a new layer again.

- This sharply increases the density of big values on the grid.

Our Verdict
Le King strikes a balance between comfort and greed. Among Smokey slots, this entry stands out for the Golden Squares mechanic and the four fixed jackpot tiers: golden cells gradually fill the grid, while there is always a chance to land Mini, Major, Mega or Max, which makes the game feel more layered.
The base game can spend quite a while grinding small clusters and occasionally tossing in coin chains, but thanks to cascades and Golden Squares, even a single good spin can grow into an extended reveal with clovers and pots.
Medium volatility here feels more like “the downsides are cushioned” rather than “nothing risky ever happens”. When the grid is packed with coins near the end of a bonus, one or two clovers or a jackpot marker can completely flip the picture.
The three free spins levels create a solid progression: Spin City is about gradually building Golden Squares, Jackpot of Gold is about playing a long session on one carpet of golden cells, and the epic mode with guaranteed rainbows and higher-tier coins feels like the rare setting where the slot shows its full potential.
