Eliminations from both the DFB-Pokal and UEFA Champions League, alongside the likely relinquishment of the Bundesliga title to Bayern Munich, have increased the pressure on the squad — something Augsburg will be keen to capitalise on.
Bayer Leverkusen
April has been a torrid month for Bayer Leverkusen, including a shock 1:2 loss in the DFB-Pokal semi-finals to third-division Arminia Bielefeld. In their league matches against Heidenheim (1:0), Union Berlin (0:0), and St. Pauli (1:1), the team managed a combined xG tally of just 2.00 — the weakest attacking return in the Bundesliga over that span. Notably, three of their last four home fixtures have ended below the Total Over 2.5 Goals threshold.
