Design and Theme
🖼️ Graphics
In Danger High Voltage, everything revolves around neon madness. In the base game, you get a grid of steel frames with pulsating LEDs beneath it, like an '80s dance floor. In the bonus mode, the palette becomes even more aggressive: bursts, blazing wilds, and the game’s flashing logo take over the screen. The effects are deliberately over the top — the idea is not realism but pure stage energy.
🎶 Sound
In the base game, a soft electronic melody plays — rhythmic and more background than intrusive. Spin and win sounds blend into the overall beat, so the slot feels cohesive, as if running under a single track.
In the bonus, everything changes: a real song with vocals and guitar drive kicks in, instantly lifting the pace. The music becomes the main element — creating a stage-like effect and giving the game its signature “high-voltage” energy.

Special Symbols
To understand how to play Danger High Voltage, remember that there are several bonus symbols, each working differently depending on the mode:
- Wild (Wild Fire / Wild Electricity): occupies an entire reel and appears only on reels 2–5. Both substitute all symbols except the scatter. Wild Electricity additionally multiplies the win by x6, but only for the current spin.
- Sticky Wild: appears only in the Gates of Hell Free Spins bonus. At the start of the free spins, one regular symbol is chosen at random and becomes sticky, fixing itself on reels 2–5 for the duration of the bonus. If four sticky wilds land on a reel, +3 spins are awarded.
- High Voltage Wild: active only in High Voltage Free Spins. Can appear on reels 2–5 and multiplies the win by one of the multipliers — from x11 to x66.
- Scatter (heart with crown): lands in any position and pays independently of paylines — x6, x20, x50 and x100 for 3, 4, 5 and 6 symbols respectively. Landing three or more scatters activates the choice of bonus mode.
Bonus Game
- Gates of Hell Free Spins: The player receives 7 free spins. At the start of the round, one regular symbol is chosen at random and becomes a sticky wild. Each reel filled with 4 of these sticky wilds awards +3 free spins, with a maximum of 19 possible. Scatters do not appear in this mode.
- High Voltage Free Spins: Awards 15 free spins. In this mode, the High Voltage Wild may appear. Landing another 3 or more scatters awards an additional 15 free spins.
RTP, Volatility, Max Win
RTP — 96.22%. Volatility is not specified. After test sessions, it feels closer to medium-high: wins in the base game do appear, but mostly small and not often. The maximum win is capped at x15,746 of the stake.
Our Verdict
Danger High Voltage is a slot with character: loud, bright and chaotic. It can keep you waiting without a bonus for a long time and then drop everything at once. The two free spins modes feel noticeably different: Gates of Hell with its locking wilds is more about gradual build-up, while High Voltage is about pure multiplier lottery. In the base game, wins rely on random wilds, but frequent dead spins are noticeable.
For players who like the idea of different wilds in bonuses, The Dog House Megaways is worth a try. And if you want visual madness and multiplier progression, Sugar Rush 1000 with its cluster pays is a good fit.
