In the base game, the reels stand right on the streets of New York: peeling walls, graffiti, traces of riots and the subway in the background. Everything looks grey and grimy, as if after yesterday’s brawl, and the characters with their sharp, sarcastic expressions fit naturally into this environment.
In the bonus modes, the background changes: one of the versions moves the action into the underground, where a train passes along the bottom of the screen, and the reels themselves burn with fire. This makes the game visually more aggressive and dynamic, reinforcing the feeling of disorder.
🎶 Sound
The music relies on harsh punk rock with a fast tempo — no flirting, straight in your face. In regular spins, it acts more like background noise, reminiscent of a garage rehearsal, while in bonuses, the sound becomes louder and more aggressive, reaching its peak during wins.
The symbols respond with metallic clicks and hits, while the appearance of wilds and multipliers is accompanied by short bursts of guitar riffs. Altogether, it creates the impression of a chaotic concert where drums and flames work in sync.

Special Symbols
- Scatter (card with a star): triggers bonus modes.
- Jumping Wild (skull with a flag): appears only in free spins and changes its reel position between spins.
- Burning Jumping Wild (skull on fire): works like a Jumping Wild, but its wild multipliers become permanent for the duration of the bonus; if there are several, their values are added together.
- xWays: expands to 2–4 identical symbols; all xWays on the reels reveal the same symbol. In the base game, when expanded to 4 cells, it can super-expand to 20; in free spins, it always covers 4 cells and contains 4/6/8 identical symbols.
- Molotov Wild (skull in a cap holding a WILD bottle): turns all positions above it on the reel into wilds.
- Pipe Bomb Wild (pipe with a WILD sticker): contains 2 to 4 wilds and turns all positions above into identical Pipe Bomb wilds of the same size; can appear in the base game and in Riot Spins.
Bonus Game
To understand how to play Punk Rocker 2 in bonus mode, you first need to understand the Train Enhancers mechanic. These are additional cells above and below the reels that activate if a Jumping or Burning Jumping Wild lands on the same reel.
- The top Enhancer may add a wild multiplier, grant xWays or a Molotov Wild, expand the reels to a height of 6, award extra spins, or upgrade the bonus.
- The bottom Enhancer may add a wild multiplier, grant extra spins, or convert a Jumping Wild into a Burning Jumping Wild.
- If the burning carriage carries a Burning Wild, all Jumping Wilds on that reel convert into Burning Wilds, and their multipliers are combined.
After that, the different bonus modes come into play:
- Riot Respins: triggered by two scatters. Their reels are fixed, and the symbols turn into Molotov Wilds. Each new scatter gives +1 respin and becomes a Molotov Wild after a win.
- DisOBEY Spins: three scatters grant 8 spins. Three Jumping Wilds are active, and the top Train Enhancer is enabled.
- ChAos Spins: four scatters activate 8 spins with four Jumping Wilds and two Train Enhancers at once.
- Mass Transit BBQ Spins: five scatters trigger 8 spins. The reels feature four Jumping Wilds, both Train Enhancers, and a burning carriage in every spin.

Our Verdict
Punk Rocker 2 feels like a slot-chaos in the best traditions of Nolimit City: the screen is constantly on fire, the train with its enhancers bursts into every bonus, and the balance may melt for a long time only to explode later with a chain of multipliers. In our tests, respins often ended quickly, but the free spins with connected train upgrades looked spectacular and unpredictable.
If you want alternatives:
- Wanted Dead or a Wild with two free spin modes and a separate two-phase mode (three lives) — also a brutal game, but in a cowboy aesthetic.
