Design and Theme
🖼️ Graphics
The backdrop looks like a chaotic desert highway, littered with warning signs, graffiti and makeshift barricades — a cross between Mad Max and a comic strip. The reels sit inside a metallic gold frame, surrounded by signs pointing in every wrong direction.
In the base game, everything feels sunburnt and dry; once the respins start, the screen flashes neon, the middle reel lights up with the Cash Queen, and the whole setup jolts to life. Her arrival electrifies the field — glowing outlines, static sparks, and bright pink flares pulse around locked symbols. It’s fast, brash and a little unhinged, which fits the title perfectly.
🎶 Sound
A rock groove drives the base game, with percussive thumps and metallic clanks on every stop. Respins spike the soundtrack: the riff tightens, snares rattle, and a short surge effect underlines each new lock. When wins land, the Cash Queen fires her golden rifle in bursts that cut through the noise, matching the rhythm of payouts. Big connections hit with heavier guitar stabs and low-end booms, keeping the whole thing banging and rumbling without pause.

Special Symbols
The slot keeps its structure tight — no clutter, no random modifiers. Only a few special icons break the rhythm of regular spins, and that’s where the real action starts:
- Wild (gold-gun queen): 1x3 Wild that appears only on the middle reel and substitutes for all paying symbols. When Cash Queen forms part of a winning line, she triggers a respin.
- Scatter (police-shield sign): triggers the free-spins feature. Pays do not apply by themselves outside the feature.
Bonus Game
There are two feature modes in Mayhem — Free Spins and Respins — both centred around the same character, the Cash Queen:
- Respins: each time the Cash Queen helps form a winning combination, she locks in place with the winning symbols and launches a respin. If new symbols of the same type appear, another respin follows. The streak ends when no new matching symbols land.
- Anarchy Spins: triggered by three Scatters and starting with 10 free spins. The Cash Queen stays locked on the middle reel for the whole round. When a win forms with her, it also activates a chain of respins. When the chain ends, the win multiplier increases by +1, starting from x2 and reaching up to x10. This multiplier applies to all wins during Free Spins. Any Scatter landing on reel 1 or 5 adds +1 extra spin.
RTP, Volatility, Max Win
RTP — 95.71%. Volatility is not stated by the provider, but based on our test, it feels closer to medium. Maximum win capped at x1,200.
Our Verdict
We saw wins roughly once every ten spins, usually small but frequent enough to keep the balance moving. The Cash Queen dominates every session — once she lands, the game shifts gears, and the respins often become the main source of decent payouts. It’s one of those slots where a single feature carries the weight, yet it doesn’t feel repetitive thanks to the constant motion and noisy rhythm. Free Spins, however, proved stubborn; during our testing, they never appeared, which adds a touch of unpredictability to the grind.
Mayhem feels built for players who like straightforward mechanics that still manage to escalate quickly when the feature hits. If you enjoy “working” wilds, try Cyber Wolf, where any symbol can turn wild in the bonus. And if you prefer something entirely different, Money Cart 4 trades spins for chained features and chaos of its own.
