xWays Hoarder 2 Demo Mode

The xWays Hoarder 2 slot by Nolimit City is a dark post-apocalyptic game where the reels spin not with jewels or fruits but with cans, fuel containers, toilet paper, and deranged characters. Its main features are the signature xWays and xSplit Wilds mechanics, along with a radiation level progression that gradually removes low-paying symbols from the grid. We recommend trying the demo version right here or in the games catalogue to check the chaotic gameplay and bonus rounds without risking your balance.

xWays Hoarder 2: Design and Theme

🖼️ Graphics

xWays Hoarder 2 looks as if you’ve stepped into an underground bunker where radiation survivors have holed up. The background shows grimy walls packed with junk. The characters appear completely drained of hope — Karen with her wild eyes, a bearded man smoking a pipe, a guy in a cap, and other outcasts.

On the reels spin the remnants of civilisation: toilet paper rolls, gas masks, and canned food. In the bonus round, the action moves to the surface, where the radiation and devastation become even more evident. Everything is deliberately rough — a muted colour palette, harsh animations — making even the demo feel like an ironic end-of-the-world thriller.

🎶 Sound

The music in xWays Hoarder 2 is calm but filled with static, as if an old radio were picking up a faint signal from the past. The atmosphere recalls the Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 soundtracks — seemingly soothing tunes, yet laced with a sense of post-apocalyptic despair. There’s no shortage of effects either: clicks as the reels stop, metallic rumbles on wins, and harsh transitions during the bonus. The sound design is what most strongly immerses you in the setting — this slot isn’t about excitement, but about surviving amid the rubble and radiation.

Special Symbols

In xWays Hoarder 2, traditional Wilds and Scatters are joined by Nolimit City’s signature mechanics. The list is long — but essential to understanding how the game works:

  • Wild — substitutes for any symbols except the Scatter. Works in the standard way, but when combined with xSplit, it can double the number of matches on a line.
  • Scatter — appears on reels 2–6. Triggers the bonus rounds (Raid Spins or Plunder Spins).
  • Super Scatter — appears through interaction with special symbols (for example, when a Scatter is “split” by an xSplit). It transforms itself and all positions below it into sticky xSplit symbols at the start of the bonus round.
  • xWays — a crate-shaped symbol that “opens” after the reels stop. Each xWays symbol can reveal between 2 and 12 identical symbols. The more xWays symbols land in the same spin, the more total symbols they produce. All xWays symbols in a spin always display the same symbol, effectively increasing the number of winning ways dramatically.
  • xSplit Wilds — when this symbol lands, it “splits” all symbols to the left of it on the same row in half, effectively doubling each one. If it splits an xWays symbol, its multiplier also doubles. These wilds often look like they’re slashing across the screen, creating a cascade of new winning combinations.
  • xSplit Nudge — a vertical strip that always expands to cover the entire reel. Once it reaches its target position, each cell acts like an xSplit Wild — cutting all symbols to the left and doubling them. Essentially, it’s a “multiplier expander” that affects multiple rows at once and can instantly turn a dead spin into a big win.
  • Loot Symbol — triggers the Loot Respin mode. During the respin, all special symbols become sticky, while the first reel is locked with the Loot symbol. Landing another Loot symbol restarts the feature.

Bonus Game

In xWays Hoarder 2, there are three bonus levels — all centred around Scatters and special symbols. The difference lies in which symbols become sticky and how thoroughly the grid is cleared of low-paying icons.

  • Raid Spins. Triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters (awarding 7, 10, or 13 free spins). All special symbols (xWays, xSplit Wilds, and xSplit Nudge) that land on the middle reels remain fixed until the end of the bonus. Every three collected special symbols increase the “radiation level”: the cheapest symbols are removed from the grid, and you receive +1 spin.
  • Plunder Spins. Activated if at least one of the Scatters is a Super Scatter. Along with the usual sticky symbols, there’s a bonus effect: the Super Scatter itself and all cells below it turn into fixed xSplit symbols. This creates a much more aggressive bonus, where the road to big wins is shorter. The number of spins remains the same — 7, 10, or 13.
  • Binge Spins. The final level, reached by upgrading the radiation level to 4. Only the two top character symbols and one premium item remain on the reels — everything else burns away. This is the mode for those rare moments when the slot decides to “go all in.”

RTP, Volatility, Max Win

xWays Hoarder 2 has an RTP of 96.14%. The slot’s volatility is extreme — wins can take dozens of spins to appear, but when they do, the bonus rounds can deliver enormous payouts. The maximum win is capped at x25,920 of the bet. Once this amount is reached, the game stops immediately, even if you still have free spins or respins left.

Our Verdict

xWays Hoarder 2 is one of those cases where Nolimit City once again created a game that genuinely grabs your attention. Here you’ve got trashy characters, a radioactive bunker, and dozens of mechanics that trigger in random combinations, turning the screen into pure chaos — and that’s exactly what makes it work. You keep wanting to come back to it; it’s engaging and constantly gives you the feeling that something wild might happen on the next spin.

Yes, the volatility is extreme, and sometimes it feels like your balance is melting away with no return in sight. But when the reels finally “catch fire” and the bonus triggers, the level of chaos more than compensates for the wait.

If you want to try something similar, check out Kill Em All from the same studio — it’s a monster-themed bloodbath. From other providers, the Money Train series by Relax Gaming fits perfectly, especially Money Train 3, which blends a post-apocalyptic setting with a range of clever, interlocking features.
