Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the Spanish Segunda División match.
Tenerife
Tenerife are clearly eager to escape the relegation zone as quickly as possible, but their 2:2 draw with Cadiz last weekend highlighted their defensive issues. The team squandered a two-goal lead, conceding twice late on from just two shots on target. A potential weakness for their backline is the injury to key defender Juande Rivas, who was substituted off early against the former La Liga side due to an injury.
Racing
Like their upcoming opponents, Racing also face difficulties in organising their defence, but they make up for it with their attacking play. They thrive in open football, as evidenced by three consecutive matches hitting over 2.5 total, and boast the best attack in the Segunda with seven goals. Andrés Martin poses the greatest threat for the team. The 25-year-old forward was bought out in August following a successful loan spell last season, and he's now scored in three consecutive rounds (4+0).
Tenerife - Racing Santander Prediction
Only three teams in the Segunda have conceded more goals than Tenerife in their three matches. In March, Racing secured a convincing home win over the same opponents (4:2), and they are likely to find the net at least once again.
