Adam Williams presents his prediction for the Friendly International rugby match.
Wales are in the midst of a record-breaking losing streak, and it shows little sign of ending as they prepare to face the reigning world champions, who have brushed aside the likes of England and Scotland.
Wales
It's been apparent that Wales are currently weaker than even a struggling Australian side, but to lose so decisively (20:52) was unexpected. The Welsh endured a similar collapse in 1996 (25:56) and faced an even wider margin back in 1991 (6:63). They have never experienced such humiliation at home. Their losing streak now stands at 11 matches.
South Africa
South Africa are likely to deliver another comprehensive defeat. The solid yet somewhat inexperienced England side fell to them (20:29) at Twickenham, and Scotland succumbed at Murrayfield (15:32). Both British teams scored a try that was ultimately disallowed, which happens frequently. The South Africans themselves had a superb try ruled out in London. Therefore, even with an experimental lineup, they pose a significant threat.
Wales vs South Africa Prediction
It looks like Wales are headed for another heavy defeat. Last year, they lost to the South African side twice over the summer (13:41 and 16:52). This match is unlikely to bring an end to the struggles for the team and their supporters.
