AS Monaco have been disappointing in the UEFA Champions League. After the 1:4 defeat to Club Brugge KV, the team went three matches without losing, but only in the game against Tottenham Hotspur (0:0) did they dominate, producing 2.45 xG yet still failing to score against the London club. At the same time, things are not going well for AS Monaco in the Ligue 1 either: they have suffered two 1:4 defeats to Lens and Rennes, with Folarin Balogun and Denis Zakaria sent off in those games. There are also problems in attack for the team: in their last eight matches they have scored more than one goal only once.
