Brentford's Frank could lead Man Utd if ten Hag departs

Brentford’s head coach Thomas Frank has emerged as a potential candidate to take charge of Manchester United.

According to the Daily Mail, following Thomas Tuchel's signing of a 1.5-year contract with the England national team, the 51-year-old Dane is now the leading contender to manage the Red Devils should the club's management decide to part ways with Erik ten Hag.

Thomas Frank joined Brentford's coaching staff in 2016 and took over as head coach in 2018. Under his leadership, the Bees secured promotion to the English Premier League in 2021 and have maintained their place in the top flight ever since.

Currently, Brentford is 11th in the Premier League standings with ten points, while Manchester United stands 14th with eight points.

The two sides are set to clash in the eighth round of the Premier League, with Manchester United hosting Frank's team on 19th October.
