Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui is set to be sidelined for several weeks due to heart-related issues.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the 26-year-old Moroccan has successfully undergone a minor preventative procedure to correct a detected arrhythmia. The Red Devils player is expected to make a full recovery and return to action in the coming weeks.
Noussair Mazraoui joined Manchester United from Bayern Munich last summer. This season, the defender has made ten appearances for the Mancunians across all competitions, providing one assist.
The Moroccan's contract with the English club is valid until the summer of 2028.
