The Bosnian basketball club has housed a player in a local prison
Bosnian basketball club Sutjeska Foča, competing in the country's second division, has made the unusual decision to house one of its players in a local prison. This was reported by RTVBn.
The rationale behind this move is the high cost of housing rentals. Initially, it was planned for three players to reside in the prison; however, it was ultimately decided to accommodate only one player, whose name has not been disclosed.
"In light of the high rental prices in our city, this measure significantly simplifies the club's operations and supports its further development. Thank you for your support," the club's press office stated on social media, expressing gratitude to the correctional facility for their cooperation.
