These clubs have never faced each other before. They are from different worlds, but this year the moment has come. It's a huge event for the whole of Armenia and a routine match for Chelsea, who might think they can take down the debutants at this stage without much effort. Let's see.
Chelsea
Chelsea lead the league phase of the Conference League, even consciously opting not to use several key players, such as Cole Palmer, which is not surprising. They are expected to reach the playoffs as one of the top eight. So far, Chelsea have found it easy to score four goals per match: they've already done this against Gent and Panathinaikos. Now, they face an even more exotic opponent.
Noah
Noah should have some support at Stamford Bridge. To see a goal against the hosts would already be an event for them. Compared to the English club, the Yerevan side are, naturally, weaker, but they hold their own well against less formidable teams. They outplayed Mlada Boleslav both in terms of chances (1.52-0.45 xG) and goals (2:0) and narrowly lost to Rapid Vienna away (0:1) despite withstanding 22 shots (7 on target). The Austrians clearly missed their scoring chances (2.27 xG).
