Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the EuroLeague match.
Crvena Zvezda have had a tough schedule. After remaining unbeaten in the first three rounds, the Serbian club faced the giants of the league and suffered three consecutive defeats. The series of challenging games continues as they take on Panathinaikos, the reigning champions of the tournament.
Crvena Zvezda
It's worth noting that in two of their three losses, Crvena Zvezda fell short by just five points. They have been performing well offensively, averaging 80.7 points per game. Furthermore, at home this season, they've only been defeated once in four encounters, losing to Barcelona (94:98 in overtime).
Panathinaikos
The Greeks have found their form, winning four of their six matches. The key to their performance has been the addition of Kendrick Nunn, formerly of the Miami Heat and the Lakers, who has helped the team excel offensively, averaging 86.7 points per game. However, it's noteworthy that both of Panathinaikos' EuroLeague losses have occurred on the road.
Crvena Zvezda vs Panathinaikos Prediction
While the Greeks appear to be the clear favourites, Crvena Zvezda had an extra day for recovery and preparation. Additionally, the home crowd will be behind them. Considering that in previous matches against top teams, the Serbians were just five points away from victory, we recommend betting on this margin.
