Adam Williams presents his prediction for the English Premiership rugby match.
Harlequins fans watch each match against Saracens with hope that their team won’t lose. It's been 1,722 days since they've last won the London derby.
Harlequins
In the third round, Harlequins led 22:14 at halftime against the champions, but Northampton Saints turned the game around in just 20 minutes after the break. Despite the loss, Marcus Smith deserves praise. The longstanding leader of the Harlequins performed as well as Leigh Halfpenny—scoring twice in the first half and converting four out of five kicks over the 80 minutes. It's useful to have two full-backs with excellent kicking skills, isn't it?
Saracens
The visitors also have players capable of precise kicking. Fergus Burke is the primary fly-half and kicker, but in the recent game against Exeter Chiefs (29:14), he scored himself and handed penalty duties to Alex Lozowski. However, Lozowski's conversion rate was subpar, hitting just two out of five, though they didn't need 100% accuracy to secure victory. It was clear the Chiefs would lose by halftime (24:7). Ben Earl's contribution is noteworthy—scoring two tries in one game, the flanker has already surpassed last season’s tally, where he managed just one try for the club.
Harlequins vs Saracens Prediction
Victory for either team won't be as emphatic as their last game on the Saracens' field (52:7). However, to be honest, the win will likely go to the visitors.
