Adam Williams presents his prediction for the NBA match.
No one would envy the schedule that the Warriors have been given. They face six consecutive road games, with the last two in a back-to-back. Their veteran leaders have been playing to the limit for a long time, and now they have a meeting ahead with one of the most up-tempo teams in the league, the Miami Heat.
Miami Heat
Many were convinced that the run of injuries would derail the young Miami Heat, but the last game showed that they are in great shape. At home the team defeated a strong New York Knicks team (115:113), and as many as seven players scored at least 11 points. Importantly, even without Bam Adebayo, the Heat offence, which averages 124.6 points, has not dropped off at all; on the contrary, it has become even stronger, producing 127.5 points over the last six games.
Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors had already run out of energy in yesterday’s game against the Orlando Magic (113:121). Yes, Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler delivered an excellent performance, combining for 67 points and 13 rebounds. However, they received virtually no support: no one else scored more than 12 points. The biggest concern is that, given their age, it will be difficult for them to recover in 24 hours and produce another powerful performance.
Miami Heat vs Golden State Warriors Prediction
The Golden State Warriors will not have enough energy for a shootout with the Miami Heat. Even if Stephen Curry is on fire, that clearly will not be enough. Unfortunately, no one else on this team scores consistently.
