While Humphries and Price have been delivering, Bunting and van Gerwen have been far less convincing. The legendary Dutchman followed a decent showing on the World Series with a disappointing Masters campaign, losing to Damon Heta in the opening round. Bunting went one step further but was firmly stopped by Danny Noppert. As a result, the debate around Stephen’s place in the Premier League is growing louder. For both players, this head to head is a chance to prove there is still plenty left in the tank, but it is difficult to believe they will seize it.
