Hearts
Last season, Hearts were 25 points behind champions, Cetlic, and finished third in Scottish Premiership. In summer they had rough friendlies against English teams, losing to Leyton Orient (1:2), Tottenham Hotspur (1:5) , Fleetwood Town (0:3). They sold their key defender Alex Cochrane to Birmingham for 1.2 millions euro. Now their defence will be weaker.
Rangers
Rangers didn’t challenge Celtic for the title at the end of the season and also lost to Cetlic in the Scottish Cup final (0:1). Despite three losses and four draws in summer friendlies, they have a great attack. The Glasgow team scored 6 goals on aggregate in the games versus big teams, such as Ajax, Manchester United, Birmingham, and Union Berlin.
Prediction
Rangers’ players are skilled and experienced, they are strong enough to show the result. It’s unlikely Hearts will stop their opponents, which need to be confident before the Champions League.
