Bayern Ultras call for boycott of Champions League match against Shakhtar
One of Bayern Munich’s largest ultra groups has called for a boycott of the December Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk, set to be held at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
According to Bulinews, the reason for the proposed boycott is high ticket prices for the event. It’s noted that other ultra groups have yet to join the call for a boycott.
“Don't be fooled and boycott the away game at Shakhtar Donetsk. Stand for fair pricing and against top match surcharges! ” reads the ultras’ statement.
The match between Shakhtar and Bayern is scheduled for December 10, marking the last Champions League game of the year for both teams.
