Review of the bookmaker Sporting Index Odds from Legalbet

Sporting Index Odds started life in 1992. The first bet it sold was on the number of Conservative seats that would be won in the 1992 general Election. It operated offline until 2001, when it unveiled “Bet on the Move,” the UK’s first betting application. Since then, it has become an industry leader in the world of spread betting. Sporting Index Odds is based in the UK and is registered for fixed-odd betting by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC).

The margin for Sporting Index has been calculated by taking the odds available on a range of markets and leagues from around the world. The average of these odds when combined leads us to lableing the odds at each site:

From 1% to 5%: Good value

Over 5% to 7%: Average value

Over 7% to 10%: Poor value

Football

We got our results by taking into account the odds for final result outcomes measured in line with the over / under for different football leagues. UK Leagues (Premier League & Championship)

6.19%

European Leagues (La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga)

6.92%

Rest of the World (Turkish Süper Lig, Australian A League, United States MLS)

How to Bet at Sporting Index Odds

It is easy to place a wager at Sporting Index Odds. The bookmaker has also simplified things by providing a standardised betting method for all games.

Follow the instructions below to wager on your favourite sports.

  1. Firstly, navigate to the sports section on the bookmaker’s homepage. Clicking the “All Sports” lobby will bring up the complete list of all the sports for which Sporting Index Odds has odds on the left side panel. The sports are arranged in alphabetical order for you to find the event you want.

  2. In this example, we have clicked on “Football.” When you open this section, you will be shown all the main games currently “In-Play” and “Up Next.” You can also see the latest offers and price boosts relevant to this sport.

  3. If you are not betting In-Play, though, and are looking for a regular match, then click on the “Competitions” tab. It will bring up a breakdown of every tournament and league for which Sporting Index Odds is currently offering odds. Here we have selected the UEFA Europa League.

  4. The UEFA Europa League section is further divided into “Matches” and “Outrights.” The “Matches” section has a list of all upcoming games. In contrast, the “Outrights” section lets you bet on which team will likely win UEL 2022/2023. We selected the “Matches” section and the match Juventus vs Sevilla.

  5. Clicking on this match brings up some helpful statistics that could help you make your betting decision. Clicking on the “Home Team” or Away Team” will show you additional statistics specific to that team. These include team info, league stats, and the team’s current form. It also confirms exactly when the game will be taking place. On this page, you can scroll down to view all the different betting options, but we will simply selected the “Markets” section.

  6. Sporting Index Odds categorises these sections as Popular, Player, Handicap, and so on. When you scroll down, you can see all of the betting alternatives. In this case, we’ll bet on Juventus to win the game. When you click on the odds, a new betslip will open on the right-hand side of the screen. Enter your stake in the box to see the expected returns. If you agree, click on the “Place Bet” tab.
