Review of the bookmaker BresBet from Legalbet
BresBet is a very new online bookmaker which was launched in 2021 by successful businessman and punter Nic Bereton. As the owner of greyhound racing dogs Nic aims to help give back to the community he loves by taking some profits from BresBet and pumping that money into the BresBet foundation which supports crucial parts at the heart of greyhound racing.
Odds — bad
We calculated the margin for BresBet by analyzing the odds they offer. We further ranked them in one of the following three categories:
From 1% to 5%: Good value
Over 5% to 7%: Average value
Over 7% to 10%: Poor value
We got our results by taking into account the odds for final result outcomes measured in line with the over / under for different football leagues. Getting the average results using this method, we were able to obtain the margins for each league and the overall betting margin for the bookmaker.
BresBet has an overall average margin of 7.14% for football and falls in the "average odds" category. In the first section with English Football (Premier League and Championship), the margin is 6.38%. In the second section with European Football (La Liga and Serie A) the margin is 6.63%. Finally, taking the Rest of the World and the English lower leagues into account the margin is at 8.42%.
Betting options — normal
Range of Sports: BresBet provides 23 different betting choices, all but one of these choices being a sport. With one special market in the form of “TV and Specials' ' the choice offered is pretty decent and there certainly aren't many sports missed on the list provided by BresBet.
Range of Bets and Markets: The range of bets on BresBet is overall fairly good with around 100-150 markets on offer for each match (Range taken from 5 different English premier league matches). This great market choice leaves bettors with no end of selections and even provides a good choice of asian handicap markets.
Betting Limits: The betting limits on BresBet range heavily from £5,000 to £250,000 depending on the event. The specific info relating to betting limits can be found in section “M) Maximum payouts” of the terms and conditions on BresBet.
Live — bad
In play betting on BresBet is a fairly disappointing experience. With a complete lack of any live feed or animation and a very minimal range of live markets the in play betting system on BresBet is unfortunately quite bad. However, the site does have relatively quickly updating odds and provides plenty of info about how the odds are changing.
