Lazio clinches victory against Porto thanks to Pedro's late goal
Lazio emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Porto in the fourth round of the Europa League league stage. The match took place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Alessio Romagnoli put the hosts ahead just before halftime at 45+5 minutes, while Pedro secured the win with his goal in the 90+2 minute. Porto responded with a goal from Stephen Eustáquio in the 66th minute.
This victory marks Lazio's fourth consecutive win in the Europa League. Previously, Marco Baroni's team defeated Twente (2-0), Nice (4-1), and Dynamo Kyiv (3-0).
Lazio currently tops the Europa League table with 12 points. Porto, with four points, is positioned 22nd.
In the next round, the Biancocelesti will host Ludogorets, while the Portuguese club will be on the road against Anderlecht. Both matches are scheduled for 28th November.
