Neymar makes statement after injury during match

Al-Hilal forward Neymar spoke out about the injury he sustained during the AFC Champions League match against Esteghlal, which ended in a 3-0 victory.

«I felt a very strong cramp. I’ll undergo tests and hope it’s nothing serious—this can happen after a year out. The doctors had warned me, so I need to be more cautious and gradually increase my playing time,» Neymar wrote on social media.

The Brazilian came on in the 57th minute but left the field in the 86th minute, holding the back of his thigh. For the 32-year-old Neymar, this was only his second game after a year-long break due to a previous severe injury.

Recently, it was reported that Neymar purchased land in Florida amid rumors of a potential move to Inter Miami.
