Upcoming UEFA matches will begin with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the recent floods in Spain.
“All UEFA club competition matches this week will start with a minute of silence to honor the victims of the floods in Valencia and to show support for all those affected in the region and beyond,” reads an official UEFA statement.
Severe rains and Hurricane Dana recently struck Valencia in southeastern Spain, resulting in catastrophic damage and loss of life.
