Simon Dalton presents his prediction for the EuroLeague match.
Fenerbahçe have been in great form, losing only once in their last five games. In the fifth round of the EuroLeague, they suffered a disappointing defeat to Panathinaikos (76:81), but bounced back in their next game to edge out Maccabi Tel Aviv (84:82). Now, they face Partizan, who have lost their last two tournament matches.
Fenerbahçe
Surprisingly, both of Fenerbahçe's EuroLeague defeats came at home. Now, the Turks do not appear invincible. Their main issue lies in their offence, as they manage to score only 76.7 points per game on average. However, they deserve credit for their strong defensive performances, conceding an average of just 76.5 points.
Partizan
The Serbian side are experiencing a significant slump. They've suffered two unexpected home losses to Virtus Bologna (69:70) and AS Monaco (74:79). Additionally, Partizan have been fairly weak in away games. This season, they've only managed a victory against Maccabi Tel Aviv (91:79), while suffering defeats to Real Madrid (86:93) and a not-so-strong Baskonia (82:88).
Fenerbahçe vs Partizan Prediction
We anticipate this match will be a low-scoring affair. Fenerbahçe struggle offensively but are adept at controlling the game pace. Meanwhile, the Serbians have yet to score more than 75 points in their last two games. It is highly unlikely that both teams will suddenly produce a high-scoring, spectacular game.
