Olympique Lyonnais (women)
Over two months of the current campaign, Olympique Lyonnais have not dropped off in results, although some opponents managed to cause problems. At the turn of September and October, the hosts beat Paris Saint-Germain (6:1) in the French league and Arsenal (2:1) in the Women's Champions League — wins over top opponents proved the team’s strength. Against Nantes (6:1), Paris FC (1:0) and Montpellier (5:1), they looked unshakeable — on Friday they produced 2.73 xG and had 13 shots on target.
Wolfsburg (women)
Before the third round of the main stage, Wolfsburg are ahead of Olympique Lyonnais on goal difference. Of course, the German club deserve praise for wins over Paris Saint-Germain (4:0) and Vålerenga (2:1), but in the domestic league they have lost twice since 11 October. On Saturday against Eintracht Frankfurt (2:3), the visitors played with a numerical advantage from the 37th minute and still lost despite a big edge in control (31-11 in shots, 65-35 in possession). That match was the sixth in a row for Wolfsburg with goals conceded.

A year ago in the group stage of the Women's Champions League, Olympique Lyonnais handled Wolfsburg comfortably (2:0 and 1:0) — extending their winning streak in head-to-head meetings to six matches. With the hosts in sustained form and the Germans showing defensive instability, the home side are better placed to cover the handicap.
