Odds - Average

We calculated the margin for Ladbrokes by analyzing the odds they offer and placed them into one of the following three categories:

From 1% to 5%: Good value

Over 5% to 7%: Average value

Over 7% to 10%: Poor value

We got our results by taking the "Match result" odds and also the over/under 2.5 goals odds for different matches in different football leagues. Getting the average results using this method, we were able to obtain the margins for each league and the overall betting margin for the bookmaker.

Ladbrokes has an overall average margin of 6.72% for football and falls in the average category. In the first section with Premier League and Championship, the margin is at 6.34%. The second section with Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A, the margin is at 6.59%. Finally, taking leagues from the rest of the world into account, the margin is at 7.23%.

Range of Sports and Markets - Good

At last count there were 30 different Sports to bet on, and whilst Horse Racing and Football have the most depth of markets and tightest odds, there is definitely something for everyone. As well as the other mainstream sports such as Cricket and Rugby there is also Political markets and “E-Sports”. The depth of markets is impressive with lower leagues priced up in many countries, and in the UK it covers the top five divisions down to the “National League”.

Most of Ladbrokes attention is focused on Horse Racing and the major football Leagues. They cover every UK Horse meeting and price up the big festivals and races, such as Cheltenham or The Grand National, several months in advance. For major UK Premier games, they have every betting option you could want, almost 200 different selections to chose from.  For nearly all sports, golf, cricket, darts, etc, etc they have more than just the win markets and also include the scores, handicap markets, and individual player bets.

A very nice feature that Ladbrokes have when it comes to football betting, is something called “GetAPrice”. This new feature allows people to create their own bets, and request the odds directly via Twitter. There are a number of Ladbrokes “GetAPrice” odds already listed on the website and if something you want is not there then Tweet @Ladbrokes with your desired wager and, if accepted, you’ll receive a reply with your requested price and a link to place your bet.

This feature is not yet available for a huge range of football leagues, but if you’re looking to bet on major European leagues, the Ladbrokes GetAPrice function should work for you.

In-Play Betting - Good

The live betting at Ladbrokes is likely to be exactly what you’re looking for. Ladbrokes in-play betting platform provides one of the best live betting experiences with a diverse range of betting markets.

No matter what sport, league or tournament you like to bet on, Ladbrokes is likely to have an in-play market available for you. About the bookmaker

Ladbrokes was one of the first-ever bookmakers, their origins dating back to 1886 when they were established by a Mr Schwind. They began by taking bets on horses trained at Ladbroke Hall, and the name stuck. By 1902 they had become known simply as Ladbrokes.

They grew over the years until in 2015, after a merger with the Gala Coral Group in November 2016, they became the biggest bookmaker in Britain. They employ over 14.000 people, in the UK, in Ireland, in Belgium and in Spain where they own a combined total of 4.288 betting shops. Online they have not just the Bookmakers but also a Casino, Bingo site, Poker site and due to the purchase of Betdaq a Betting Exchange.

Unfortunately, most people only write reviews when they are dissatisfied, and when they are satisfied with everything, they are silent. We ask you to also fill in the «Good» field so that your feedback remains as objective as possible. We are sure that you will be able to specify both pros and cons of the bookmaker Ladbrokes.
