Parimatch may be an unfamiliar name to most UK citizens but it is a big name in Eastern Europe. Founded in 1994 in Kyiv, this small Ukrainian betting company has transformed into an international gaming network, the first website going online in 2000, and today they employ 1,600 people and cater for over 1,000,000 registered customers.
They work both online and offline in multiple countries but they have a notable presence in Cyprus (Where they are headquartered), Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Tanzania. They are making inroads into new sports where the established bookmakers do not yet have a presence, for example in E-Sports and UFC. On the International stage Conor McGregor became the brand ambassador in 2019 and closer to home in the UK Parimatch has sponsorships with Leicester City and Everton Football clubs.
Parimatch is a bookmaker who offers bets 24 hours a day, offers “In-Play” betting, reports on current sports news and provides tournament league tables, statistics and analytics through their website. Parimatch will be partnering with BetVictor Limited (a company registered in Gibraltar and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission).
They are making headlines in the industry winning several key awards in recent years:
SBC Awards 2019 Marketing Campaign of the Year.
In December 2018, the holding's CEO Serhiy Portnov received the SBC Leader of the Year award.
By partnering with BetVictor, Parimatch is likely to be offering the same high-quality odds, great depth of markets, generous bonuses and high bet limits as their partner. We can’t wait to join them...
We calculated the margin for Parimatch by analysing the odds they offer and placed them into one of the following three categories:
From 1% to 5%: Good value
Over 5% to 7%: Average value
Over 7% to 10%: Poor value
Football
We got our results by taking the "Match result" odds and also the over/under 2.5 goals odds for different matches in different football leagues. Getting the average results using this method, we were able to obtain the margins for each league and the overall betting margin for the bookmaker.
Parimatch has an overall average margin of 5.32% for football and falls in the average category. In the first section with Premier League and Championship, the margin is at 6.14%. The second section with Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A, the margin is at 4.64%. Finally, taking matches from around the rest of the world into account, the margin is at 5.16%.
Range of Sports: They cover 33 different sports including Netball, Squash, and Hurling. As the website is provided by BetVictor there is ample coverage for each, as you would expect. They also have MMA/UFC which is an area they have been advertising with heavily.
Range of Bets and Markets: There is a large range of betting markets for each event, but it is Football and Horse Racing that has the most depth.
Betting Limits: Limits are initially high and can be increased over time, but likewise can be reduced or cut completely if it appears you are either an “Arber” or a “Shrewdie”.
Compared to the huge amounts of markets offered before the events begin, the in-play features are OK but not that good. There are only a few bet options compared to some 50+ variants at their main competitors. There are limited events streamed live, UK Horse racing is well covered but other sports can be hit and miss.
