Odds - Poor
We calculated the margin for BetVision by analyzing the odds they offer. We further ranked them in one of the following three categories:
From 1% to 5%: Good value
Over 5% to 7%: Average value
Over 7% to 10%: Poor value
We got our results by taking into account the odds for final result outcomes measured in line with the over / under for different football leagues. Getting the average results using this method, we were able to obtain the margins for each league and the overall betting margin for the bookmaker.
BetVision has an overall average margin of 4.82% for football and falls in the high margins category. In the first section with Premier League, the margin is at 4.26%. The second section with Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A, the margin is at 4.39%. Finally, measuring the leagues from the rest of the world the margin is at 5.81%.
Range of Sports and Markets - Good
19Bet offers a full range of Sports, nearly 30 at the time of writing, all the mainstream ones you would expect and a few niche ones such as Pool, Floorball and E-Sports. The depth provided is good for most sports but 19Bet beats the competition when it comes to Football. You can bet on matches from virtually every country in the World, from Argentina, Botswana, Cyprus, through to Wales. For UK Football they go right down through all 7 tiers of the football pyramid, if you want to bet on “Hornchurch vs Bognor Regis Town” in the Isthmian Premier League, then you can do it here!
The Achilles heel for this bookmaker is… they do not cover UK Horse Racing.
The most markets are found in 19Bets main sport, football. Premier League games will have around 150 different betting lines to chose from. They are Asian Handicap specialists and have lines not available elsewhere, and always with a close margin.
They have all the standard markets such as to win, correct score, over/under as well as player markets not just to score first but also to score last or even just to score. They also have some quite specific combination bets available such as “Match winner and over/under 1.5 goals in the first half”. It is not everywhere that you can get that bet! The only let down here is there are few proposition type bets, and no way to request them by contacting support.
In-Play Betting - Good
The live betting here is perfectly functional, the layout allowing you to monitor either a range of matches or narrow in on any one of particular interest. Obviously once in play the number of markets available decreases but it is still around 20 for a football game which is above average. The interface is perfectly functional and whilst it is nothing special it does its job. The only real let down here is the lack of match streaming or in-play data for how the games are progressing.
